Will filing a storm damage claim raise my insurance rates?

In Utah, homeowners are protected under what’s commonly referred to as the “Act of God” provision. This means insurance companies cannot raise your individual premiums solely because you filed a claim for storm damage caused by natural events like hail or wind. These are considered catastrophic losses beyond your control. However, it’s important to note:
